TERMS and conditions

By using our site, you are agreeing to the following:

 

Lead Times:

  • EXTENDED LEAD TIMES on all WELDED bumpers placed between Feb 1st-April 30th. Ascend is a one man shop and am taking some time away from welding to welcome our family's first child. Will still be fulfilling welded orders when I have time, but it may be a little longer wait than normal. DIY lead times will not change. Thanks for understanding!

  • Our current lead times are

    • 4-10 weeks for WELDED front bumpers.

    • 4-10 weeks for WELDED rear bumpers (base only) +1-3 weeks for swingout.

    • 1-4 weeks for DIY bumper kits.

    • 1-3 weeks for frame brackets. +0-3 weeks for powdercoat.

    • 1-3 weeks for GX470 headlight fillers.

    • 1-2 weeks for gear. 

    • Powdercoating typically adds 2-4 weeks on top of regular lead times to welded front/rear bumpers.

  • Lead times may be extended without notice during a sale or new product release when we have a sudden surplus of orders.

  • During a preorder, lead times will go into effect after we receive stock from our supplier.

  • If you order gear with an armor product, they will ship together and the armor lead time will apply to the whole order.

  • Lead times are only an estimate and may vary depending on material availability and current workload. We will try to process your order as soon as we can and beat our estimated lead times whenever possible. For updates on your order please contact with your name and order number.

  • Lead times do not include shipping transit times.

  • If you would like to process an order but don't feel comfortable paying the full amount and then waiting on our lead times for it to be built, you are welcome to put down a 25% deposit on the order (to partially cover materials) and it will be entered into the production schedule. You will then be contacted when your order is ready to ship and for you to pay the remaining balance plus shipping charges. However you must contact us for a custom invoice. 

  • Deposits can NOT be applied towards custom or modified parts. Those must be paid in full up front.

 

Shipping:

  • All modular front bumpers and DIY kits are shipped UPS ground and can be delivered to residential addresses.

  • Large single piece welded rear bumpers, or orders that have more than one large item, will ship LTL freight. It will be palletized and delivered to the freight terminal closest to your location for you to pickup. You will receive tracking information once it ships. Once it arrives at your local terminal you will be contacted by the carrier to schedule pickup. Or if you have a commercial business address with loading dock or forklift, we can send it directly there. Please let us know if you have a commercial address, otherwise it will be sent to and held at the terminal for pickup.

  • Smaller parts may be shipped either UPS ground, USPS priority, or standard post.

  • Once a part ships you will receive tracking information via email.

  • Orders that ship standard post, such as stickers, will not receive tracking information.

  • In case of damaged or lost shipments, you must contact the carrier for claims. We package the parts appropriately but once they leave the shop any mishandling by the carrier is out of our control. We will be happy to assist but it is ultimately up to the customer to report and file any claims.

  • Free local pickup at our shop in Stillwater, MN is available.

  • Our flat rate shipping options are only available for the lower 48. If you are outside the lower 48 and would like to order, please contact us for a shipping quote and invoice.

 

Returns:

  • If you are unhappy with your order you are welcome to return it within 30 days of the original ship date. Anything past 30 days is not eligible for returns.

  • You must contact us for permission prior to shipping any parts back.

  • All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

  • All parts must be packaged appropriately and in the same box they were originally shipped in.

  • All parts must be in the same condition they were received in. Parts that have been installed on vehicles and used or modified in any way are not eligible to be returned.

  • Any parts that arrive to us damaged due to poor packaging will be assessed and damages deducted from the refund amount.

  • Any custom or modified products are not eligible for return.

  • Original shipping charges are not eligible for refund.

  • Customer is responsible for any return shipping charges. Tracking information must be provided once dropped off with the carrier.

 

Cancelation:

  • If you would like to cancel an order before it ships you are welcome to do so.

  • Orders canceled within 7 days are subject to a 5% cancellation fee.

  • Orders canceled beyond 7 days are subject to a 20% cancellation fee.

  • Any custom orders will be assessed and the refund amount will be at our discretion.

  • Orders can NOT be canceled once they are built/shipped.

  • Invoiced orders that put down a deposit may be canceled. However the cancelation fee percentage will be for the total invoice amount and will be deducted from the deposit. Example: You put down a $500 deposit on a $2000 order and then cancel after a week, you will only get $100 of your deposit back.

 

Warranty:

  • Check your products for any defects before installing them or throwing away the original packaging.

  • We offer a limited warranty on all parts against major manufacturer defects for 30 days from the original ship date. If the claim is valid, we will attempt to repair or exchange the malfunctioning part. In the event that neither of those are possible, a refund will be given. However once installed on the vehicle and the product shows signs of off-road use, it is no longer applicable towards warranty claims. 

  • Powdercoating will NOT be warrantied in any way from damage, scratches, rub marks, rust, or fading caused during shipping or from normal use. There may also be evidence of small scratches or weld splatter under the powdercoating that was caused during manufacturing.

 

Liability:

  • All Ascend Fabrications armor products are intended for off-road use only. 

  • They should be used safely and with good judgment. 

  • Ascend Fabrications takes no liability in the event of damage, loss, or injury to the customer, their vehicle, or any other affected party during the installation or use (or misuse) of our products. 

  • By installing our products, or by purchasing or driving a vehicle with our products already installed, you assume any and all risk and liability.

 

Privacy Policy:

  • Ascend Fabrications will not share or sell any of the personal information you provide to us throughout the order process on our website or what you provide to us through any means of communication.

  • If you send in product pictures, you are consenting to us using and sharing them for marketing purposes. But just because you send us some doesn't guarantee we will use them.

 

General Conditions:

  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason.

  • We reserve the right to limit any of the products or services we offer to any single person or group.

  • We reserve the right to discontinue any products without notice.

  • We reserve the right to change the design or available options on a product without notice.

  • We reserve the right to change the price of a product without notice.
