Introducing our take on a high clearance rear bumper designed for the 5th gen 4runner! It features unmatched looks, strength, and has more clearance than any other bumper on the market. By removing the rear crossmember and factory tow hitch, you are gaining nearly 9 inches of clearance at the rear end for a substantial increase in departure angle.
Aside from the aggressive style and low profile fitment, it was carefully engineered with materials to take a beating while keeping weight to a minimum. The base bumper weighs in at only 80 lbs with hardware!
Add-on Options:
- Side Hoops (+$150)
- Low profile hoops welded to the sides of the bumper for extra protection.
- Only works with 14+ Non-Limited trims! If you try to install on an OG, Limited, or TRD Sport trims the hoops will rub on the plastic.
- Forward Wing Supports (+$175)
- Extra tubing that attaches to the front of the wings near the wheels.
- Also adds extended base plate for additional mounting points.
- Gives the bumper more strength for side impacts as well as adds extra rigidity to decress flex when paired with a swingout.
- Limited Parking Sensor Brackets (+$60)
- Brackets welded onto the center to attach parking sensors for the 14+ Limited trims.
- These are only for the center two sensors. You will need to drill holes in the plastic bellow your taillights to relocate the outer sensors.
A few other notable features:
- Along with removing the crossmember, you will need to mark and drill a set of holes straight up through the frame rails to be concentric with nuts welded to a bracket on the bumper that rests on the top side of the frame. Large m12 grade 8 bolts are passed through the holes and are used to lock the bumper in place from moving forward or backward. Because of the dual shear mounting brackets sandwiching the frame, it gives back much of the strength that was taken away by cutting out the crossmember.
- Includes welded tabs for mounting pod lights. Recommended for use with either Baja Designs S2’s or Diode Dynamics SSC2’s. Other similar sized cheaper lights may also work. You may have to use different mounting hardware.
- All mounting hardware is grade 8 or stronger.
- Recovery points are 1/2" thick and welded inside and out.

- Designed for stock body height and suspension lifted vehicles only. Having a body lift will result in a different fitment than pictured. You will need to cut the plastic cover at a different height.
- The bumper is only shipped as raw steel. There may be evidence of anti-spatter spray, oils, areas with light surface rust, small amounts of weld splatter, and shallow scratches caused during manufacturing and/or shipping.
- Once again, THE RECEIVER IS NOT RATED!!! It was designed to be as strong as possible and comparable to the oem capacity, but LEGALLY WE CAN'T GIVE IT A RATING. It is intended for offroad use only and towing a trailer or carrying any hitch mounted accessories on public highways is at your own risk and the user takes all liability. We can not provide any insight or recommendations as to what you can safely tow. Use your best judgment.

This bumper ships freight! It will be palletized and delivered to the freight terminal closest to your location for you to pickup. You will receive tracking information once it ship. Once it arrives at your local terminal you will be contacted to schedule pickup.

Local Pickup: If you are local to Stillwater, MN or are willing to make the drive you are welcome to pick up your order from our shop for free. Once your order is ready you will be contacted to schedule a time to pick up.
