THIS IS A DIY KIT!!!! You will recieve the same parts we use in our welded bumpers, but will be required to assemble and weld it yourself!

*Currently the DIY kit is only available for the single full width swingout. Once we complete welding instructions will release the half/dual swingouts as DIY. But if you really want them and are okay without the instructions, please reach out for an invoice.
Single full width swingout for your High Clearance or Crossmember Retaining rear bumper. Comes with spare tire carrier.
Add-ons / Upgrades:
- Accessories Panel (+$85)
- Optional accessories/molle panel to attach whatever gear or fuel you want.
- Slots on accessories panel are direct compatible with Rotopax mounts.
- Can also attach dual jerry can holders to them (modification may be required).
- Camp Table (+$160)
- Fold down aluminum camp table that mounts to the backside of the tire carrier.
- 28"x14.5" surface.
- Has built-in bottle openers.
- 60 lb capacity.
- GX460 only: If you are adding a camp table to the swingout, you will want to have it built on the left/drivers side. The camp table bracket will hit the barn door with the swingout in the 2nd lock position if you have it open to the right/passenger's side.
- Ratha HD Dual Shear Hinge Upgrade (+$100)
- HD dual shear hinge from Ratha Precision Design.
- Recommended if you are running 35"+ tires or carrying extra fuel/gear on the swingout.
- Ratha HD hinge locks at 0, 90, and at 120 degrees.
Swingout direction. Ratha HD hinges are side specific.
- Left = hinge on left / drivers side
- Right = hinge on right / passenger side
- It is recommended for the swingout to be built with the spindle and tire carrier on the right/passenger side. This helps level out the rear and correct any lean caused by the gas tank on the drivers side.
- Extra 2" Receiver (+$35)
- Extra receiver for the face of the swingout beam to use for bike racks.
- Recomended to offset the receiver slightly towards the latch end to prevent interference with the spare tire.
A few other notable features:
- Standard swingout spindle locks at 0, 95, and at 120 degrees.
- Standard spindle includes Ascend branded cap.
- Wheel mount on the tire carrier has multiple mounting locations and can be raised or lowered.
READ BEFORE YOU ORDER:
- DIY KIT!!!!! IT COMES IN PIECES AND YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS AND WELDING IT YOURSELF. Failure to follow the instructions, using the incorrect tools, not welding on a flat surface, or not properly fixturing parts while welding may lead to the bumper/swingout not fitting correctly and/or not being as strong as it was designed to be.
- FLAT RATE SHIPPING: The average cost to ship a swingout kit on its own within the lower 48 is $115. If you order at the same time as the base kit it only adds $70.
- The base bumper and swingout components are packaged and shipped in two separate boxes. See more details under the SHIPPING INFO tab.
- Swingout will be combined with the base bumper parts if ordered together. Camp table and accessiores panel will ship in a separate box.
- No guarantee on the full width or dual swingouts working with aftermarket hatch mounted ladders.
- Depending on wheel offset, you may have to run spacers on the tire carrier in order to prevent the sides of the tire from hitting the swingout.
- When running swingouts with a spare or extra weight from gear, you may experience a slight shake or bounce when hitting repetitive bumps.
- You will need to relocate your license plate.
- There may be evidence of anti-spatter spray, oils, areas with light surface rust, small amounts of weld splatter, and shallow scratches on the parts caused during manufacturing and/or shipping.

REAR BUMPER FULL WIDTH SWINGOUT SYSTEM - DIY KIT
This bumper ships via UPS directly to your door! Unless ordering with other items that ship freight, in that case they will ship together on the same pallet.
Flat Rate: The average cost to ship a swingout kit on its own within the lower 48 is $115. If you add to a base kit it will be combined and only adds an average of $70. The base bumper and swingout components are packaged together. If you order a accessories panel or camp table they will ship separately.
Local Pickup: If you are local to Stillwater, MN or are willing to make the drive you are welcome to pick up your order from our shop for free. Once your order is ready you will be contacted to schedule a time to pick up.
